Brother Howard Killbrew passed away on Monday. January 18, 2010.
He was 85 years old. Brother Killebrew was a 49-year member of the UA, initiating August 18, 1961 at U.A. Local 176 before transferring his membership to U.A. Local 8. He spent approximately 6 months there, before becoming a permanent member of Local 469. He is a U.A. plumber by trade, and retired from his craft on August 18, 1986.
There will be a viewing for Howard Killebrew Thursday January 21, 2010, from 5pm to 8pm at Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 E. Baseline Rd., Buckeye, AZ . There will be no funeral since the family will be laying him to rest in Camp Verde. The family is requesting that anyone who wants to send flowers to please donate the money to the food bank in his name.
