Founded in 2017, the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Women in the Mechanical Industry (WiMI) aims to empower women in the mechanical industry and support their professional growth through networking, educational, mentoring, and career development opportunities. AMCA and Local 469 proudly support the MCAA WiMI and its vision.

As of April 2025, we are excited to announce the creation of the AMCA/Local 469 Women in the Mechanical Industry (WiMI) Committee! As part of this group, participants will have the unique opportunity to meet other women in the industry and participate in activities throughout the year.
